William’s Dog Food Guide

Important: Homemade diets can be nutritionally incomplete. Ask your veterinarian to approve a long-term feeding plan, especially for puppies, seniors, or dogs with medical conditions.
Basic preparation

Prepare the meat
Cook meat thoroughly when needed, remove every bone, and chop it into manageable bites for your dog.

Combine
Mix the prepared meat with the fruit and vegetables in a large bowl.

Portion safely
Refrigerate the amount needed soon and freeze the remainder in meal-size portions. Thaw safely in the refrigerator.
Common dog-safe produce
Apples without seeds, bananas, blueberries, carrots, celery, cucumber, green beans, peas, pumpkin, raspberries, spinach, strawberries, and seedless watermelon.
Keep these away
Grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, chives, wild mushrooms, fruit pits, cooked bones, chocolate, xylitol, alcohol, and heavily seasoned or fatty meats.
